Telogis is looking to appoint a Senior Software engineer for their highly regarded Telogis GeoBase division, based in Christchurch. The chosen candidate will be responsible for leading a small team through all the phases of the software development life cycle including implementation and integration testing.

Key skills we are looking for:

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
• A desire to manage and mentor a growing group of keen developers.
• Proven ability to deliver on-time and to quality.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Key technical skills we are looking for:

• Extensive experience with C++ and either C# or Java or similar.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• A strong grounding in mathematics.
• Some development experience with Silverlight or JavaScript would be desirable.
• Some understanding of GIS or GPS would be desirable.
