Lead Computer Network and Systems Engineer

The successful candidate will have at least 10 years IT commercial experience, some of which will ideally have been spent in a web application environment, with networks and servers administered remotely. • Network Administration (7+ years)
• Cisco certification
• UNIX / Linux System Administration (5+ years)
• Windows Systems Administration (2+ years)

Preferred Skills / Qualifications

Virtual Machine administration (1+ years, Citrix XenServer experience a bonus)

Specific Responsibilities

• Optimally develop, configure and integrate computer systems
• Ensure networks are configured to operate at optimal performance
• Improve network operations and integrated hardware, software, communications and operating systems
• Lead the support and troubleshooting of network problems and emergencies
• Provide network programming in support of specific business needs and requirements
• Maintain accurate network & server admin knowledge base
• Deliver infrastructure-related solutions for various project and operational needs
• Create and maintain tools for environment provisioning, auditing, deployment, and diagnostics monitoring
• Provide strategic direction on infrastructure technology choices
• Assist with system administration operations as required
