Telogis, a world leading provider of GIS systems, and one of the fastest growing R&D teams in NZ is seeking a number of computer science graduates for its Graduate Trainee Programme.

These positions are based in our Christchurch R&D centre. Successful candidates will enrol on a one year programme covering testing, development and systems management, leading to a specialist career path in one of these three disciplines. The aim of the programme is to nurture participants to become well-rounded IT engineers with a thorough appreciation of the team work involved in shipping world-leading applications to a global customer-base. Successful candidates will be productive from day one, executing structured functional testing of our products and building up valuable business domain knowledge relating to our customer-base. Participants will then be given the opportunity to assist with the delivery of our evolving automated build and unit testing models and the set-up and execution of technical testing to validate system performance and resilience. Further into the Programme, Systems Administration training will be provided and participants will have the opportunity to release software and execute the daily monitoring, analysis and administration tasks that are an essential part of running a successful 24/7 global software service. The Programme will culminate in participants applying their development knowledge and skills to deliver bug-fixes and new features for our web-based products, guided by our highly-talented and experienced senior software engineers.
